Sometimes you have to be willing to quit when you're ahead... Given the forecast for the next 24 hours, we decided to head out a day early, save the wet pack-up experience, and give ourselves a little more cushion on the way home.
Sheltered in the dunes to avoid the wind so we could get one more visit to the beach.
And made it out just as the first drops began to fall!
