We hit another milestone with Ethan this week - he went to the dentist for the first time! He was so brave - heading off down the hall with the hygenist by himself, climbing into the chair, and meeting "Mr. Sunshine", "Mr. Thirsty", and "Mr. Tickle". (Yep, they're still around from when we were kids, and appear unphased by feminism. Isn't it about time we meet "Ms. Spit Bowl" and "Mrs. Tooth Scraper"?) After his appointment, Ethan played and colored in the waiting room while Mommy and Daddy had their appointments. When we were ready to leave, Ethan turned to Daddy, plastic tic-tac-toe game and super bouncy ball in hand, and said "I yike the dentist."
Mission Accomplished!
