Keenan had his 9 month check-up last week and seems to be right on track. He's weighing in at 20 lbs, 50th percentile, and measures 29 inches, 75th percentile for height. This is the age when everybody starts talking about how my kids "don't miss a meal, do they?" and make me feel like they're huge, when really that's just the way kids look at this age. So it's nice to get that reality check that says he's right where he's supposed to be. Heck, if anything he's "skinny" for his height. Ha!
He's also recently started pulling up on things (April 18th, in fact) so we'll need to be lowering the crib soon. If only he was still sleeping through the night in it. Unfortunately that was short-lived, only lasted 4 nights. After that he had about 4 nights of inconsolable crying, followed shortly thereafter by a 9 day trip to Oregon. So who knows when he'll settle down enough to sleep well again. Oh well, someday he'll be a teenager and we won't be able to wake him up, right??

When Levi was that age and people said he was huge, I took it as a compliment. Which is weird, as if I made him big through hard work or something.
